Amateur Radio M6CEC

Thanks for viewing these pages - you`ve either got here via a link off my main site www.raynerd.co.uk or you may have worked my station, M6CEC, on the amateur radio bands.

QTH is the village of Ramsbottom, 700ft above sea level near Bury, North Manchester, England.
Locators for my QTH are IARU: IO83UP & WAB: SD71

I am very interested in QSL cards and will be happy to send these to my contacts. I would very much like to receive contact QSL cards and these can be sent directly (details on www.qrz.com) or via the RSGB Bureau.

My Online Web-log can be viewed here or by using the link at the top of this page. Please note that although at times updates are “live” and immediate, there can often be a few days delay if I am not currently using the computer at the time.

My radios in the shack include:
* 2m - FT-480R for 2m FM and SSB work with a X200 colinear antenna.
* HF - FT-747GX, daiwa cnw-518 ATU and half size G5RV.

I hope you find some of my projects interesting and please find some time to post a message or comment regarding any of my projects - it is always good to see people are viewing my site!

All my projects links can be found in the menu to the left but I have highlighted those relating directly to radio below:

Welcome to Raynerd.co.uk

I`ve always wanted to learn more about engineering and electronics and my list of projects both complete and ongoing has been growing over the past few years. I like to document my progress more for my own understanding as much as anything, it helps keep me on track. I hope you can find something of interest to you, my clock building project is my priority but as you can see, I have many other builds I`m working on. Please leave a comment, it is nice to see people are reading!
